Leaving Fido after 20 years!

I joined Fido in the early 2000s and was always a proud customer. 

 

I had a nice deal of paying $40 for 8GB of data and it was sufficient. They kept increasing my data until I realized I was paying $49 for 15GB. I contacted them and asked for a $40 plan. I have family members who joined a few years ago and are paying $35. They said the best they could offer me was $45 for 50GB.  Even though I kept saying I didn't need more data, and I just wanted to pay what I was paying 4 months ago. 

 

So when the "Retention" department refused to give me a $5 discount per month, I finally realized I had been more loyal to them than they were to me! So I registered with a new provider. 

 

So long FIDO! You were disappointing!
