I am so dispointed with customer service Fido offered to their long term customers.
I was shocked last month when I've rcvd my last month bill with $305 roaming charges added.
While travelling inernational i dont use roaming even told Fido to disable roaming feature from my phone plan.
After making multiple calls and effort Fido only removed 50% of the roaming charges.
This makes me so frustrated and as a result I cancelled their phone service. My advise to those who are considering Fido, please ensure you are not falling into thier trap.

We definitely understand extra charges on your bill are not pleasant, so we do our best to avoid bad surprises.
Most of our plans include Fido Roam, which allows you to use your plan's features while traveling for a daily fee, instead of charging pay per use.
This allows customers to have peace of mind in knowing exactly what you'll be charged if you use the service.
We also send a text message and/or email when you get to your destination, outlining how you'll be charged for roaming with your current plan.
That said, if you do not wish to use roaming at all in the future, we can also add a roaming restriction to your line.
