Port out SMS confirmation not working

I moved overseas and I'm trying to port my Fido number to a VOIP service. I received the SMS to confirm the porting operation and I replied, but apparently my response wasn't received on the other end.


I'm currently waiting in line on 18664058694 but it's taking forever. Is there any way to preapprove the port operation somehow with a Fido service agent through these forums?

  Firslty, you should note that this is the community forum and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts so would not be able to deal with any port requests.


  You should note that replying to the port request confirmation would be considered roaming usage. Did you place any roaming blocks on your line?


  I understand you may have been waiting to speak with someone using that number. Unfortunately, I don't think access to those toll-free numbers is available overseas. That could be the reason the call has not connected. If you wish to discuss the matter you would need to contact customer service. They do have a contact number to use from  Abroad. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.
