Galaxy Z flip3 issue

Hello, I just purchased my Galaxy Z flip3 yesterday and it's on a brand new contract!  I can't send nor receive texts except for between my girlfriend and I and it's really frustrating. I tried everything that I have looked up online and I can't seem to get anywhere.  

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Can you tell us what troubleshooting steps you went through already?

It would be helpful to also let us know what exactly happens when you try to send a text message to another number, is there an error message? Are your calling and data services working fine?

Would it also be possible for you to test a different SIM card in your Galaxy Z device as well as your SIM card in a different device to see if the same thing happens?
