Why does Fido report monthly to credit agencies reporting that my account status as "derogatory", when my account has been paid in full and closed for over 1 year, now.
This is incredibly annoying and very poor form on the part of Fido. I hope this can be rectified in short order.
All accounts are reported monthly to credit bureaus, in terms of closed accounts it would be reported if there's an outstanding balance.
You mentioned it's been closed and paid for over a year now, to be 100% sure though have you logged in to see if the balance is $0? I also suggest checking to make sure the account number reporting to the bureau is the same one as your Fido account
Check those things out and if they match and it is $0 please contact our credit operations team at 1-888-288-2106 so that they can get it fixed for you.
