I came to Canada in Jan this year. Although I'm kinda settled with a job, I was wondering if there's anyway I could update my Employment record on my credit file. Apparently, this cannot be done directly, I need to contact my creditors with whom I have an open credit. Like my credit card issuing bank, my vehicle finance, and Fido. I was just checking if Fido can update my profile to show that I'm working with *ABC*?? Any ideas?

Hey @syedshahnavaz
Welcome to the Community!
We'd need a bit more info here. Is this regarding your Credit Score?
Did you contact your Credit Bureau?
They informed you to contact your creditors?

Hi Charles,
No, I did'nt contact my Credit Bureau. This solution came out of an internet research, online forums etc.
While checking my credit score online, it shows that I have no employment record on my file. The actual score is good. But I just wanted the record to show that I'm working.
Thanks!

Hey @syedshahnavaz
As your cell phone provider, we ask you for different pieces of ID for your credit evaluation like:
- A credit card
- Your Social Assurance Number
- Your driver's license
Your employment record is not something we ask for so it's not possible to update that information for you on our end.
I hope this helps.
