Difficult to connect with Fido support

My experience trying to connect with anybody live at Fido is that it is very difficult to impossible. 

Here is why:

1) Live Chat: DOES NOT WORK

2) ASKJACK: if I ask this bot to connect me with a live agent, it puts me on hold indefinitely.

3) Calling Fido directly: need to wait a long time, sometimes over an hour. Waiting an hour on hold is not acceptable.

4) I am receiving emails to provide feedback: however, the link provided to leave feedback is not working.


As one can see, it is very difficult to connect with anybody at Fido. 

I had 2 lines with Fido for over 15 years, but as a result of this situation, I already moved one line to another provider that can be connected, and I am planning to move the second line now.

The LiveChat button does not work. I click on it and nothing happens.

AskJack is saying "Your chat is being transferred to a Live Chat agent. Thanks for your patience." and I wait hours and I am not connected with a live agent.

Yes, you may always pick up in terms of calling, but I may not always have 1 hour or longer to wait. I find it disrespectful to leave somebody waiting so long. 

I suggest somebody contact me directly, as it is impossible to connect live at Fido. If I can't connect with Fido over the next few days, I will just move to another provider.

Regarding the feedback emails I receive, when I click on them to leave feedback, the link is broken and I cannot leave any feedback.

You would really need to contact customer service for assistance. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. For LiveChat, what exactly happens when you try to reach out? The chat is functional and you should be able to reach an agent, just let AskJack know you want to speak to one!


In terms of calling, there can sometimes be delays depending on our call volume but we'll always pick up Smiley We're even available by social media, message us on Facebook or Twitter and go about your day as one of our specialists helps out!
