Credit: Payment Program Promotion

Dear Fido,

I'm planning to upgrade my plan offered by Fido through a text message. I'm just wodering if I change plan, will I still be able to get the monthly credit: payment program promotion I currently have?

I had the same question, so I called Customer Service to ask if I would lose my Payment Program Promotion, and they told me that they were "50/50" about it lol

Hey there @DonJuan187,

Your bill credit promotion is linked to your phone's financement and will remain ongoing as long as:

1. Change to a Fido Payment Program price plan (to keep the same financement ongoing)
2. You don't opt out of your 2 year term

Doing so will keep the bill credit promotion until the end of your 24 months financement period.

Hello @Shaula01,

Usually, when changing your plan all offers and credits are removed. Since your credit is a promotion on the device financing it might be possible to keep it but I would strongly recommend you reach out to customer service and they can verify before you make the change.
