Cannot send text messages

My phone just randomly wont let me send text messages but I can receive incoming texts , can anyone tell me why this might be happening ?

Welcome to the community

That's pretty odd.  Does it only happen in the same area or is that in different places?  Have you tried resetting your phone's network settings?  If not, I would suggest trying that.
