Hey Fido
I am a Fido user and i want to cancel my current Fido account as I have left Canada for good and am abroad and I am unable to cancel my account via calling customer support services because I can't cancel my services by the chat anymore. I am not able to call the customer service. Kindly let me know the other way. And I want to cancel my roaming as well. Kindly help.
P.S. I also tried to cancel my account by using social medias.

Try to contact customer service you'll be able to cancel your services with them. Once you exit Canada your GSM carrier will most likely change so leaving Fido is logical.

Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we be able to cancel your services. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to cancel services through social media. In addition, Fido does not offer customer services via email. As far as I am aware, cancellations can only be done by calling them:
You may cancel any or all of your Services and any corresponding Agreement at any time by calling us...
~taken from Terms of Service; section 2e
That said, if you would like to go over your options, you would need to contact customer service. I understand you are currently outside of Canada. They do have a number to call From Abroad. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above. Though, you may likely still need to call them to cancel your services.

I have the same problem. Living abroad, cannot cancel. Unable to call the customer service phone number. Unable to get support from anyone on My Fido portal. What am I supposed to do? Get charged forever?

Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear of your situation. However, as stated in the solution, I believe you will have to call customer service in order to cancel your services. As also mentioned, they do offer a number to call From Abroad. Since that post, however, I don't believe they are offering customer support via social media anymore. In addition, the Live Chat options might be limited to virtual assistance.
