Is it possible to view my SMS messages if I do not have access to my phone at the moment?
Thank you,
John

I think they missed the point - Skype allowed SMS/MMS and PBX calling to local landlines and mobile phone internationally and you could do it all on your computer. MS Teams claim they can do the same thing (although they are hiding the option behind a requirement that you bring your domain name to them as well and fosake google). So clearly the option exists, you're just not willing to invest the time or money to make it happen.
Fido/Rogers really should develop a desktop app that would allow people to call from their computer using their FIDO phone connections and view/send SMS/MMS. Not everyone enjoys hunting and pecking or swishing their mobile keyboards to create SMS messages when a keyboard is far surperior and is more user friendly for business users that are no longer able to access these services from skype anymore.
If Fido/Rogers were first to market with this type of a desktop/tablet app option - it would be a game changer for mobile users that can't find decent alternatives for interconnectivity.

Hey @JohnTaves
It is not possible to view SMS messages online, you can only access them from your device.

Hello Crowabee,
Welcome to the community!
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way for mobile providers to allow online access to SMS. I think the reason might be that the systems for SMS/MMS and internet access are segregated from each other. However, if you have an iPhone, you might be able to do so via iCloud (see here). If you have an Android device and use Google messages, you might also be able to achieve something similar (see here). There may also be some other apps which offer that feature (see here).
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
