I went in store during Black Friday and received a promo for BYOP - $34 for 30GB of data, and 1000 international minutes. However, I have received my bill now and it has charged me $136 for calling internationally. Has anyone had issues with this?

Hello Amylee1688,
Welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear you've incurred unexpected long-distance charges. I understand you have the 1000 International minutes promotion. Are you aware those minutes only applies to calls made to certain Countries? You can view the included Countries here. Is it possible those charges were for calls made to other Countries?
While many plans include unlimited airtime (Canada-wide or local) minutes, some plans may only include a limited number of airtime minutes. If your plan includes a limited number of minutes, you should note that those International minutes only apply to long-distance portion of calls. Long-distance calls are charged airtime plus long-distance charges. Airtime charges would still apply. If your plan has a limited number if included airtime minutes, excess usage would incur minute overage charges.
I understand this is a difficult time and receiving such a bill even more distressing. If you're unable to make full payment on the bill, you might consider arranging a payment schedule. To make an arrangement, you'll need to contact the credit operations team. It should be mentioned that a payment arrangement might not be available in all situations.
You should note this forum is community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. If you wish to discuss those charges, you would need to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
