Auto-Payment discount

i am wondering if Rogers/Fido/Chatr will they offer an digital discount (aka autopayment discount) like other carriers in Canada, i.e. there is an $5 discount/month if an user continues to autopayment the month bill.

I find that the other carriers don't really offer a true "digital discount" anyway. Most of those carriers just increased the original price by $5 and then discounted the plan back down to the original amount if you signed up for auto-payments. It's really just a bunch of smoke and mirrors if you want to be honest. I would prefer Fido keeps things as is, and skip all that non-sense. Just my two cents.

We can only speak on behalf of Fido from here and cannot comment on practices of other providers. 

At the moment we do not offer this kind of discount for being signed up to preauthorized payments or Auto-Refills for prepaid. 

I hope this helps clear things up a little.
