Hey today only I took Home Internet modem. Unfortunately after every 10 - 20 mins. modem restarts. By reading in forums I believe that I need to upgrade firmware. Is there any special procedure or it will upgrade automatically.

Hey there @JMG1

You can indeed participate to the home internet firmware trial. You can follow the link for more information.

Alternatively, we can also try to troubleshoot your service. You can reach us at these channels, and your technical support team is available 24/7 to assist you on live chat. We can also send you a PM here if you prefer.

Hope this helps.

i've been having the same problem...wifi dropping every couple of days.  I've been turning the modem off and on regularly now. Its been very frustrating!   If the firmware will help, it would be much appreciated.  Or if you have any other suggestions...

Hey @Nc9,

Welcome to the Community!

This shouldn't be happening. We suggest contacting our Fido Home Internet Tech support at 1-888-236-FIDO (3436) or you can also contact them through live chat right here

Just scroll to the bottom and click on: Contact us

Afterwards: My Fido Services

And finally, you should see an option towards the bottom of the page that says "Live Chat"

Let us know how it goes!

The only way I could fix that was setting up my notebook to G only.

Check this link and change you PC/Notebook to 02 - 11g

I hope it helps you.

Rafael.

Hi, I have been having the same issue on my desktop (microsoft) and laptop (Apple)

Hey @sabsgroves!

Were you able to get this figured out?

Did FidoPierre's suggestions help?

Hey @sabsgroves

Welcome to the Community. Smiley

I'm sad to see that you're experiencing issues with your connection. Did you get a chance to try a couple troubleshooting steps such as unplugging and plugging back the modem?

Or even a reset of the modem? You can check out the steps on how to do this here

Let us know if it helps!
