I purchased the internet service today and picked up the modem from the store. But I do not have connection and on my account page it says the service order is not fulfilled and the modem needs to be picked up.

In case the order is still pending, your service will not be activated. When picking your modem in store, then agent needs to assign the modem by linking it to your account to close the pending order.
