USB ports only read FAT32 format.  Is there anyway with  NTFS?

Unlikely. NTFS is not a published format, unlike FAT32, so any implementation (other than by Microsoft) is through reverse-engineering, which means it's hard to get right. Device manufacturers would rather play it safe than have users complain that their devices messed up their drives.

Any reason why it has to be NTFS? Obiously I assume your current drive is formatted NTFS, but would copy, format (FAT32), copy back be a possibility? Your content would still be accessible through a Windows share.

FAT32 files limited to ~4GB only,  while NTFS no limit though.
