Disappointed in fido

So I needed home internet for a short period of time (for work purposes) and heard good things about Fido (I do have a phone plan with them as well). When I spoke to the customer support specialist she had told me that for easiest set up I can personally go purchase the Fido modem at any nearby store. When I asked her to check where it's available, she said she didn't know. She confirmed that since I had virgin mobile internet I would have no difficulty setting up fido at home (due to differences in the outlets) - I do not know much about this technical stuff and believed in her "knowledge". Then when I went to three different Fido locations to buy the modem... Each one said they don't sell them. Finally I decided to call fido back and ask to order it home(delivery would take 3-5 days). So I waited! I received the modem and tried to set it up. Turns out you cannot set it up without a coax connector. Welp... I didn't have any. And when I called technical support for assistance he said the next available technician would be able to help in 5 days. I don't need internet in 5 days I need it now. 


Overall, Please make sure you verify with your customers that they are able to connect the modem to their home & if not set up supports beforehand. I do not like wasting my time. 

I will be returning my modem after this disappointing experience. Hope they Can resolve this issue with future customers.
