Considering Fido Home Internet

I'm considering switching from Bell to Fido Internet. My modem will be in the basement of our home. It's a bungalow so signal will only need to cover the two floors. How is the range?

I'm looking for feedback on reliability and Fido internet service. I read a couple of posts of poor service that concern me. Fido internet advertised speed is 6 times what I have now for less money.
