My Fido internet stopped working today. The internet bar says I'm connected however I can't get online. At the same time, a window pops up requiring me to log into to Hitron with a username and password.
I was worried I was hacked, but checked the modem and this is the manufacturer's name.
I tried logging in with my internet name and password and it says 'wrong username'.

We'd love to help, we'd just need some more information as to what happens when you try to log in.
Are you able to get to the login screen? If so, is it the username and password that aren't working?

I can not access my router login page, I'm entering the correct IP address (I've double checked via "ipconfig" to be sure) but the browser (Edge, Chrome) just say "site can not be reached". I has worked once a couple weeks ago, and ONLY once.
I'm trying to login to forward some ports.
