Hey Community!

Have an older phone laying around just collecting dust? Does it still power on? If so, why not trade it in for a credit towards a new phone? Thanks to FidoTRADE™, not only is that possible, but it’s super easy. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to fido.ca/fidotradequote on your phone to get a quote; or visit a Fido Store
  2. Trade in your phone at your nearest Fido Store
  3. Get a credit on a new Fido phone or accessory

Pretty sweet isn’t it? You know what else is awesome? The quote is valid for 30 days!

FidoTRADE has never been this easy:

  • FidoTRADE now accepts any used phone with a battery. That includes phones from any provider!
  • You’ll get a credit equivalent to your used phone’s value, if applicable, for use in-store on the cost of your new phone or accessories.
  • The FidoTRADE program is available to new and existing customers

Note: The credit cannot be used for pre-paid airtime. Sorry.

Check out Fido.ca for more details

May the Trades begin!

What if the old phone has a damaged screen. Can i still trade it?

Hi @NetScribe & welcome to the Community!

It would depend what the extent of the damage is. It is possible that the Trade-in value is $0. You'd need to visit a Fido store to find out.

Let me know if you have any questions. Smiley

Hey team, I have a few questions about trading in my old device:

(1) Which components of the phone do I need to trade in -- just the phone and battery, or do I need to include the charger and cable, original box, etc?

(2) Is it possible to trade in TWO handsets towards a new handset upgrade or is it limited to ONE device trade-in per renewal? For example, I have an iPhone 3GS and iPhone 5S currently, can both be used as credit towards my upcoming phone/contract renewal at Fido?

Thanks in advance!

Good questions @nick67 ,

You can only trade in one device per upgrade at this time, no need to bring the accessories, only the phone with the battery . It's also better to trade in a newer model to have the best trade value Wink .

There's some more information right here  .

Hope this helps Smiley

Hello @nick67,

As far as I am aware, all you need to trade in is your phone and battery.

No, it is not possible to trade-in two devices towards a new handset. It is limited to one trade-in device per transaction.
