Hi, I found a great list of the bands that FIDO uses from 2015 in these message boards, but nothing up to date. Where can I get a current list?

Hello Jeelmi,

  Welcome to the community!

The bands and frequencies do not change all that frequently. That list in the other thread is up to date. If there are any changes, they can update that thread with new information.

There likely won't be any changes to the band/frequency list until after Rogers decommissions the GSM network December 31st, 2020 (see here). Once the 2G network has been decommissioned, they will likely refarm those frequencies to the LTE network like the other providers have already done with their 2G CDMA networks.

This year Rogers did acquire some bands in the 600MHz range, however, we might not see those frequencies being used until 5G rolls out.

"This spectrum is vital to the deployment of 5G in Canada and we are well-positioned to bring the very best of 5G to Canadians," Rogers CEO Joe Natale said in a statement. ~taken from here.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
