will my old galaxy S pick up the LTE network if I upgrade to a LTE simcard?

I'm thinking it wont but thought i'd ask anyway.

Pretty sure the phone has to have the capability for the LTE network and I dont think the galaxy s1 supports it.

Here's hoping i'm wrong

Phone has to be LTE compliant/capable to get LTE speeds. LTE sim card will not affect/change that.
