Are you referring to the Galaxy S5 or the Galaxy S5 Neo? All of the official updates are provided by the phone manufacturers, in this case Samsung. Unfortunately, Samsung has decided not to provide a Nougat update for the S5 (see here and here, etc). So, Fido will not be able to provide a Nougat update for the S5. There are a couple of custom ROMs available, though I do not recommend attempting to install a custom ROM if you are not familiar with the process.
On the other hand, if you're referring to the S5 Neo, Samsung has just released the update just a short while ago. Once the mobile providers have received the update from Samsung, they will need to add their own tweaks and test it before it gets rolled out. You can refer to the OS Upgrade Schedule for the release date.
