cannot receive or send text messages.

hi i currently can't send text messages. (iphone4) i'll be able to compose a new message and press send. it will load to almost the very end before stopping and it just says "sending..." and it just stays like that.

iMessage works perfectly fine but then again that's with wifi.
I havent been recieving any texts either. I got some friends to text me to see if i would recieve it, and i didn't.
Please help.

I've tried turning on and off my phone and whatnot already with no results.

Im getting "Connection problem or invalid MMI" when I try to update 

In the phone settings under SMSC the field is blank but when I try to udate manually, it says update error. Any suggestions? 

Ive rebooted, verifed APN, removed sim added back... At a loss here.

To add SMS Center Number
*5005*7672*<SMS Center Number># and tap Call  

To remove SMS Center Number
##5005*7672# and tap call

To view SMS Center Number
*#5005*7672#  and tap call 

fido Text messaging centre number is: +15149931123

 For Receiving

Call customer service to determine whether our sms profile is setup correctly....tech support has some tool to verify this...it could be that you may have lost the receiving sms protocls from your profile....tech support will also be able to verify this as well.
