Hello Hyng112,

  Welcome to the community!

Judging by those specifications, that phone would have all of the compatible bands/frequencies for both 2G and '3G'. With regards to LTE, that phone would only have two of the compatible bands/frequencies, bands 4 and 7 (1700/2100MHz and 2600MHz). You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here. While the phone should work on the LTE networks, coverage depends on the corresponding bands/frequencies available on your surrounding cellular towers as not all bands are used at all towers. You can get an idea of your area cellular towers here.

Where are you intending on getting that phone? Are you sure those are the correct specifications for the phone in which you're interested? You should note that there are likely different versions (variants) of the phone depending on where it is purchased. For example, the versions listed here and here only show one compatible LTE band/frequency. **edit** Even the Xiaomi Community in Canada only lists one compatible band/frequency (see here). I assume the Redmi 5 Plus is the phone you're in which you're interested as no other Xiaomi 5 Plus is shown when those keywords are searched.**

Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers

Thanks Cawtau for the quick response. You are correct. I'm looking for RedMi 5 plus which just released recently. The Network spec is what Xiaomi posted in this link: ww.mi.com/hk/redmi-5-plus/specs/.

It looks like it is compatible with Fido Network from your confirmation.

Appreciate your kind assistance.
