Will fido blacklist me?

I have a phone on contract and my account is about $200 overdue, due to my financial situation during the pandemic I am afraid my account will end up in collections if that happens will my device be blacklisted? I will pay the bill in full of course once I get hours at work again. Thank you!

  Welcome to the community!


  Only a customer can request an IMEI to be blacklisted. If an account has defaulted, all costs are charged to the account (including the cost of phone). If the payments remain unpaid, the account would go into collections (see here).


  If you're having difficulties paying, you might consider contacting the credit operations team to make a payment arrangement.
