Voiemail to Text not working at Google PIXEL 2 XL

my phone did not recived voicemail to text nor voice file since I change phone number.

I hold too long with tech support which I do not have time.

please help me fix.

Fido support told Me voice to text only work at iOS. I'd that true?

The Voicemail to Text service should work with an Android device as well.

Would you be able to let us know if you're able to listen to your voice messages though?

Also, are you able to receive SMS/MMS otherwise?

YES i am able to send/received MMS/SMS message. but voice message show show: 18: Voice Msg Notice 1 (0 urg).

1. Do you have access to your Voicemail when dialing "1" ?

2. Is it fully Set Up?

3. You do have the latest OS on your device?

Yes, everything seems to be set up correctly and working on that end, I even updated the VMR #  to +14168216549. Shouldn't the text be on Fido's end though?

As for the texts, it's part of the Voicemail feature so its mostly generated by it in the process.

Just to confirm, this was working with your previous device? It only stopped when you switched to your Pixel 2 XL?

Would you be able to to test it out with your SIM in another device?

 @FidoCharles, a little back story, I've been running with a 10yr old gradfathered plan from the iphone 3g's I had and recently updated my plan last month that included the new to me text feature. My wife has a Pixel 2 through Rogers and her voicemail to text isn't working as well so I'm not sure if this will help. Maybe there's something wrong with my sim card?

FYI... Pamela did a reset on my Voicemail and that fixed the issue. Thanks everyone for the help!!

Hello PERRYYANG,

  Welcome to the community!

  The new plans come with regular voicemail (includes up to 3 messages, each 3 minutes in length that can be saved up to 3 days). With regular voicemail, you get notified of your messages by text messages like the one you note.

  The Voicemail to Text feature is an add-on Premium Voicemail. You can add the feature as a standalone feature or as a part of the Value Pack (see here).

**edit** There is a Visual Voicemail for iPhone only as well, but the Voicemail to Text is available for other phones**
