Phone shows No SIM

Hi, my phone was working fine up untill yesterday when it suddenly said that I didn't have a usim card. I can't text I can't make calls ... Has there been a problem with fido in the montreal area also?

Have you tried to remove and add back the SIMcard to see if it works?

Can you tell me what phone model you're using? Are you still getting the exact same error message? Also, would it be possible for you to test your SIM card in a different device to see if the same thing happens?
