I'm on a 2 year contract for my Iphone 7 plus that ends in a few months. I just bought a new unlocked Iphone from black friday. Can I use my sim card currently in my iphone 7 plus and put it into my new phone and use the same plan until my contract ends?
If not, what's the cancellation process like if I want to cancel before my contract ends?
Thanks.

Hello @christieli_ ,
Yes, as long as the SIM card fits in the new phone you can just put it in the new phone and enjoy!
thank you ,
im not savy with this stuff, my new plan has more gigabyts ,does that matter? sorry for the spelling
Hello Tz4,
Welcome to the community!
The SIM card would be associated with your account. Any changes you make to your line would be applicable on that SIM. So, if your new plan has more data, your old SIM would also have access to the additional data.
That said, if your SIM is very old, it might not be LTE-capable and you would likely have to change to a new SIM. However, if you had already been using data (and you just increased the amount), you should be good-to-go!
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
Of course, you can. I have done the same several times.
