Owning your phone

I have two phones and contract will be coming to an end. After the contracts end, do the phones belong to me assuming I do not trade in. Also will be monthly bill be reduced and if so generally by how much?

Hello @Gaven,

Welcome to the community!

Yes, the phone belongs to you since your contract is now coming to an end that means you have a subsidized plan after your contract ends your plan amount stays the same.

Subsidize plans means the subsidy of the phone is built into the plan Fido has since switched to a device financing model where the cost of the plan and the cost of the phone is separate.

You can always switch to the new plans if you would like, you can also learn more about the device financing here.
