Hi, I just received this phone as a gift from a friend in US - it's an AT&T fon. Can I use it on fido, and if yes how do I configure the txt message and data plan.

I know this post is pretty old but I would like to provide some additional information in case anyone else comes across this post looking for the same thing.

You can find all the APN settings that you need to configure in your unlocked device, under the network settings, in order to be able to access data in this post.

its Q9H not QH9.

text messaging doesnt need to be configured, it automatically populates the corerct SMSC thats stored on your sim card

for data plan, you need to imput fidos internet settings, just google or search on here, theyve been posted countless times.
