Trying to set up the Android LG7thinQ ver 9 phone to connect wifi with a device for mobile operation.
The Tethering option is not visable when Setting => Network ??
Is it possible my account restricts Tethering ???
Or has there been changes in setting up Tethering .......... I do see a section to add criteria to APN
But was not sure what to enter in these fields ......
[[......I find various different documents suggesting different entries to use . ]]
Any specific help in this regards would be appreciated.

Hey @vicloewen
Welcome to the Community
Are you on the most recent OS version of your phone? If you are, you should be able to set up tethering by following these steps:
Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the clarification @vicloewen.
Can you send us a screenshot of what you see under Network or are you saying that is the only available option?
Also, is your phone purchased from us or are you using a non Fido phone?

Hello Vicloewen,
Welcome to the community!
Thank you for the additional information. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if you'll be able to get tethering or mobile hotspot to work on that device. Since you got your phone through T-Mobile, I assume it's one of their devices. T-Mobile only allows tethering and mobile hotspot on some of their plans (see here). As such, they will generally disable those features on their devices and only enable them when subscribed to a suitable plan. You might consider contacting T-Mobile to see if they can remotely enable that feature for you.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
