Issue with my phone purchased through fido

I bought a pixel 2xl through fido online and is using it. Today, while I was listening to music through my wired headset, it suddenly stopped and I am no longer able to connect my headset. The phone is not recognizing headphones. I am in warranty period. Tell me what to do?

If I understand correctly, you are able to listen to music on speaker but not on headphones?


If so, have you tried a tried a different headset?


That said, the manufacturer's warranty covers any malfunction with the device itself, however if you have an issue with a headset, it might not be something they can assist you with. I would still double-check with them if I were you.

I have tried doing that still, it's not working. I think it's some problem with the port. How can I claim my warranty?

You have two options to claim your warranty @Japjosep. You can either.


1. Pass by a Fido store that handles repairs, they will send it out to be looked at and get fixed. Some stores may even be able to provide you with a loaner phone. To find the nearest store that handles repairs please visit this link and choose "fix my phone".


2. You can also do it directly through Google. More information here
