Upgraded my phone on cyber Monday for the iPhone 16 deal. No where during the upgrade process did it say the phone is not in stock or is backordered. Once I completed my upgrade, Fido immediately changed my phone plan to the more expensive phone plan that I had to get in order to get the promo on the phone. So I checked the status of the phone shipment and then found out it's back ordered! I was looking forward to having a new phone for the holidays and my birthday and also my current phone battery is dying. Fido also said I can't switch back to my old plan even if I cancel my phone upgrade. I feel very cheated! I have to pay more for the new phone plan that was required for the phone upgrade but they don't even have stock of the phone! I've been their customer since 2006 and now I'm very motivated to look for a new carrier!

I've already contacted through Facebook messenger several times and none of the staff was able to help resolve the issue. They basically say it's out of their control. I am going to try calling in sometime this week
and if no one can resolve it, I will look for a new carrier.
