I expect to try wifi calling, however it supports Fido Iphone only.
I have a FIdo LG G4, I noticed wifi calling on this phone is supported by some US carriers such as T mobile and Sprint, but not on Fido.
I have an unlocked Iphone, unfortunately it is not supported by Fido. I checked other carriers, unlocked iphone works well with wifi calling by Rogers, Telus, Bell and Virgin Mobile.
Wifi Calling reduces celluar network load and encourage customer use more fido minutes while roaming or weak signals. Now I have to reject incoming phone call while roaming and call back by other voip phone apps. While the signal is weak, I never know much phone calls I missed.
I expect fido will support wifi calling on more devices.

Hey @Community!
I know this thread is old but I wanted to update it with the Wi-Fi Calling compatible phones. As always, this service isn't guaranteed with unlocked devices
Here's what it works with:
Hope this helps!

Update:
I got my wifi calling working now!
I did a little research in this forum, I read through this thread
http://forums.fido.ca/t5/forums/forumtopicpage/board-id/Smartphones/page/1/thread-id/26598
I noticed lots of users has problem activate wifi calling even with fido phone.
I also noticed some fido customer successfully active wifi calling with unlocked phone from US by adding IMEI.
To be frank, I do not think an unlocked iPhone / non-Canadian iPhone will be the technical issue of wifi calling. However, considering the heavy load support issue raised by wifi calling, probably that might be a solution to reducing support loads .......
I launched fido live chat before I gave up. A Fido representative took my IMEI, then problem solved and wifi calling activated! As a 10+ years fido customer, now I love fido more than before! I highly appreciate Catlin's 5-star help today! Quickly and smoothly.
I suggest users try live chat rather than call 611 if you have issues.
