So I went to a Fido store to help me with repair of my phone because I have device protection and the customer rep told me to call Asurion so I did, and they were asking me to pay 200 for a new phone. I dont want a new phone. I just want my phone fixed. It's just broken glass and screen I thought this was covered by the DEVICE PROTECTION plan. I will try to call Fido(or try to,their wait times are crazy right now) first thing in the morning but I just want to try to get some answers here as well.

I was reading it an hour ago as I want to know more about it myself. As far as I know, device protection = replacement of device only appliceable for claims regarding incident or loss that occured on or before Jan 31, 2018. The option to repair the phone will only take place for incidents that occur after Feb 01, 2018.
