Delay in phone order

I ordered the iphone 12 mini 128 gb with airpods 2 for $17/month last Sunday. I received an email yesterday that there will be a delay but it does not state how long. My current phone is on its last leg and I use it for work. Could not use the chat feature to ask. What are my options here?

Due to a high demand, there could be shortage in stock or extended delays for the delivery. The delivery timeframe can vary with the color of the model you ordered. Could you please clarify the color? 🙂

Only white was offered with the deal I chose with the airpods 2. I would accept most other colors if they are available now.
