I placed an order for an iPhone 12 Mini on Aug 1 and as of October 9 have not received it. The only formal communication I received was from Fido was a week after ordering, telling me the phone is on backorder. Nothing has changed since. I called Fido twice to inquire and they can only tell me it will take 1 to 2 weeks to ship; Fido obviously has not followed thorugh with that. I also heard that the delay was caused by a manufacturing issue, but how long am I supposed to wait for this phone? Or even an update from Fido? I saw online that people who ordered under the same deal have received phone calls with good offers to replace the one that Fido could not fill. I am waiting for that call. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.
I'm sad to hear that you're still waiting on your phone. The iPhone 12 mini would still out of stock as of today.
Delays are still expected to be for quite for some time unfortunately. You're welcome to reach out to customer service if you would rather look into a new device instead.
