Absolute from both companies. Incompetence at its finest.
Fido constantly passes the buck and Brightstar are so difficult to get a hold of, if at all. I’ve been trying to get the back plate on my iPhone 8+ fixed since August 2018. It’s January 2019.
After calls to Brightstar they’d just put me on hold and hang up or release the calls. Endless emails gone unanswered. I’m paying Device Protection fees for absolute service and then expected to pay a further $100 for the repair. Unacceptable and down right rude.
... and then I contact Fido about the issue and get the same answer every time... “it’s not us. There’s nothing we can do but how can I help you further?”. Pathetic. Frustrating.
I'm sad to see you had this kind of experience when trying to get your device repaired. It's not the kind of thing we want for any of our customers.
