Why is Fido Increasing Prices Without Any Changes?

I’ve been using Fido’s 20GB plan, which used to cost me $33, but now they’ve increased it to $42 without adding any extra benefits. The data remains the same, and I wasn’t informed of any valid reason for this price hike.
Why are loyal customers being charged more for the same service? Has anyone else experienced this sudden increase?

Hello @Sujan12 , I understand that no one likes unexpected increase on an invoice. When the prices are increased, there's usually a notice on one of your previous invoices advising of the increase. I know many of us never read everything on our invoices, but we need to be aware of our finances by doing so. One way to avoid increases is to have a 2 year commitment plan or keep an eye open for plans that may benefit you more financially. Without a contract, you can change your plan at any time. Cheers
