I got an iPhone 6 in October and recently I’ve noticed that I’ll get left voicemails but I won’t have any missed calls. And I’m not able to see the number of the people who left me the voicemails. The do not disturb option on my phone is off.

Are you using the visual voicemail with your iPhone right now?
This would be the voicemail allowing you to see your messages and press play directly from your iPhone screen.
