Voicemail off permanently

When I made some changes to my account, I asked for my voicemail to be switched off permanently and was told it had been done, but I keep getting voicemails.

How do I contact Fido to rectify this fault without having to pay to speak to someone, or pay to make the same change again?

  Welcome to the community!

 

  As already mentioned, that new charge is only applicable on certain transactions which can be done by via Fido MyAccount self-serve. You can view the details of the administrative charges here.

 

  The problem with all of the articles and social media reports regarding the charge is that most of them didn't provide full details.

Hello @throwawaywhatth just call customer service to have it done you will not be charged for that.

 

The only thing you will be charged for is:

  • Making a payment
  • Updating method of payment
  • Updated contact information (email, phone)
  • Changing billing language
  • Resetting Voice Messaging password
  • Changing Name Display for Call Display
