Voicemail Call Failed

Hi, I have an iPhone 7 and can't set up visual voice mail. I'm getting "Voicemail Call Failed" message when pressing "Call Voicemail" button on a "Voicemail" tab or when I long press "1" on a normal phone "Keypad" tab.

I verified I have Visual Voice mail included with my (older) plan. I have also already reset the network settings which didn't help. Is there anything else I have to do to set it up?

Hello, 

I keep getting call failed message when I tried accessing my voicemail on my iphone 7 today. I checked my new plan that I just upgraded to yesterday and voicemail service is included. I called the retrieval number but I got : invalid number message!!
