When I call someone in India , even they don't pick up Fido charging me . This is so ridiculous.

I replied to your other post here. I understand it's frustrating to be charged for a call which might not have connected with your intended recipient. However, as mentioned in my other post, International calls often go through multiple exchanges before reaching the recipeint. The charges might incur without the call actually connecting because the calls still pass through those operators. The charges would be at the discretion of the operators and providers in the receiving Country. If there are charges for the calls from the receiving Country, those calls would be charged for the International long-distance by the calling party's provider.
