Transfer from Fido to Rogers

Hi,

 

I wanted to transfer my line to Rogers as Fido belongs to the same company as Rogers.

 

Please let me know how can I do it asap.

 

I have an employee discount from my employer with Rogers.

 

Please let me know how to proceed with the line transfer.

I would also like to switch to Roger's as they have better plans that give more data and don't charge extra if you run out

Welcome to the community!

 

When you open the new line at Rogers you need to tell them you want to port your number over. Just provide them with the required information and they will port the number over.

 

After the port has been completed it will automatically cancel the Fido line.

So my question is i have a phone financing plan with Fido, do still I can transfer the line to Rogers right as Fido belongs to Rogers.

Hi @vppanick,

 

While Rogers is the parent company Fido is still a separate company and if you want to cancel the Fido account you will need to pay off the balance remaining.
