Roaming charges

Hi,

i wanted to to know if fido charges a flat fee while a subscriber is in roaming ? Even though one does not use the services at all a flat fee will be charged ? Is there a way that this does not happen in case one has to travel for long ?

Fido charges $7 a day in the U.S. and $12 a day internationally for roaming you can get more info here.

You can call Fido and have them put a roaming block on your line so you phone will not connect to a foreign network when you travel.
