I received a referral. I clicked on the referral and tried to purchase a plan. When i got to the end it crashed. So i lgged back the next day and was successful. Now when i click on the referral link to complete my referral 50 dollar redemption it says i can't refer myself? I tried logging in...still no help. I haven't set up the phone yet i received if that helps. It's been 2 days since i signed up.

When accepting a referral, did you complete the following steps:

 

  1. Click the link that your friend sent through social media or email. This will take you to the Refer a Friend program landing page.
  2. Register with your name and email address.
  3. Activate a new Fido phone number.
  4. Open the referral link that you received from your friend and enter your new telephone number.

Note that you also access this link to complete the referral directly on our Refer a Friend program landing page. If you still encounter an error message, we would suggest using the contact link at the bottom of that page to open a ticket.
