Receiving old or deleted messages as new

Hello,

From this afternoon, I'm getting old messages from one contact (friends).

I didn't know what happened so I asked my friend why she is texting me old messages. but she wasn't.

I completely deleted all messages with her and re-boot my phone but still they are coming back.

It is like one or two messages every 2 to 3 mins.

I'm using defaut Samsung message but I tried google message but no luck.

Not sure if it is a problem from my end or from my friend's end. She doesn't have any problems with any other her contacts...

Any one had the same issue or knows how to fix?

Hi @Othersky  that sounds like an issue with your friends device. They may have to reset their network and or clear out some messages on their device. Sometimes too many messages stored on our devices can make it behave strangely
