Hello! I want a carification on the Temporary suspension option on my fido account, for context I'll be travelling abroad for a few months as such, i wanted to know if on suspend my fido account, do i have to pay for my monthly plan or will it be void for the duration of the suspension? I do not have a fido device to pay for or any outstanding payments. I am only refering to my fido plan/sim

Hi! I have a question about a similar problem. Currently, I am on suspension until June. However, I need to receive a verification message now. Can I reopen my plan for a day and then return to temporary suspension afterward?

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any option to pause a temporary suspension. That said, you might be able to cancel the temporary suspension via your My Account --> My Usage. From your Dashboard, the option to Manage temporary suspension is under Quick Actions.
As far as I am aware, there should be an option to Cancel suspension (see here). While you should be able to cancel the suspension, I'm not sure whether re-adding a temporary suspension immediately afterward would be possible. I assume your plan monthly fees would be required when the suspension is cancelled. In addition, the minimum length of time for the suspension appears to be 30 days.
If you would like to discuss your matter, you would need to contact customer service. Unfortunately, they appear to have removed their customer service via social media options. I understand you are currently outside of Canada. They do provide a number to call From Abroad. Calling that number from overseas would not incur roaming charges when called from your Fido SIM (see here). Alternatively, customers should also be able to call that number collect from a landline.

When you place a temporary suspension on your line you will not pay the monthly fee instead you will only pay the suspension fee of $7 for each month you have the line suspended.

Will I don't think so, I've just received the agreement and you removed the a regular discount and it's written I will be charged 75$ in addition to the 7 dollars for suspension. Like WTF

This community forum is not a method of customer service, you would need to contact customer service directly and they can look over your account and better assist you.
