Payment Issue: Bill Unpaid

I made a payment for my bill last night, and it appeared to be successful. However, when I checked my Fido account, it still indicated that the bill was unpaid, and the funds have not been deducted from my debit card. Can you please help me understand what might be the issue?

When making payments using debit through your financial institution while your financial institution might deduct the money from your account right away it actually can take 5-7 business days before Fido receives the payment, If you pay using a credit card then that is done immediately.
